The Investigations Training Bureau

Stop running complex casework on tools built in 2009.
Equip your team with the daily-driver layer they actually need.

ITB streamlines the full investigative procedure, from recruiting and onboarding analysts through case management and execution. One platform, one bench, one accountable record of work.

The problem

Most investigative software was built for governments.
We've built one for you.

A boutique can't run a case on the same stack as a global corporate investigations team. And a global corporate investigations team shouldn't be running it on tools that haven't shipped a new idea since 2009.

ITB replaces the daily-driver layer. A working investigator opens it for a name, a company, a claim, a chart, a chronology. The things they do, all day, every day. We left the seven-figure data feeds to the vendors selling seven-figure data feeds.

The dual offering

Two halves of an investigation. One system.

Every firm has the same problem in two places: finding good people, then giving them somewhere to do the work. ITB is built around both.

i.People  ·  Benchmark, recruit, onboard

Profile the bench. Build the analyst.

A training platform and a screening flow under one roof. Run the Benchmark Test on every applicant. Compose onboarding flows from games, written tests, courses and presentations. Move new hires straight from the Games onto the Desk with no bridge to build.

  • i.The Benchmark — four skills, one sitting, a clear baseline read.
  • ii.Gator's Games — composable training flows + admin analytics.
  • iii.Every keystroke recorded. Performance is observable.
ii.Cases  ·  Manage & execute

Run the case. Keep the record.

A case-management workspace with nine built-in investigative programs, an embedded write-up, a data room, and an AI co-investigator. Every artefact saves back to the case as an editable widget. Accountable, auditable, end-to-end.

  • i.Gator's Desk — nine programs, one workbench.
  • ii.Three rows: Searchers, Analysers, Visualisers.
  • iii.Every search, every artefact saves to the case file.
Gator's Games

Recruit better analysts. Train the ones you keep.

Gator's Games is the training platform under the same roof as the Desk. Admins build flows from games, written tests, Gators Courses and presentations, and assign them to organisations. Interns and new hires play through levels; the platform records every answer and keystroke; admins drill into the results.

i.

Levels for the skills the job actually needs

Investigative speed, investigative reasoning, creative reasoning, typing accuracy. Each level is a contained game; the platform records every move.

ii.

Admin analytics

Every answer and keystroke is captured. Drill into per-analyst performance, per-level difficulty curves, and cohort comparisons. Ready-made dashboards you open and read.

iii.

Composable training flows

Compose your own onboarding from games, tests, Courses and presentations. Assign different flows to different cohorts. Reuse the ones that work.

iv.

One platform, end-to-end

Recruit candidates with a screening flow. Train them with the Course library. Move them straight into the Desk, where the same skills carry through to live casework.

Gator's Desk

Nine programs.
One accountable workbench.

Each program does one thing well. Open the one you need, run it, save the artefact back to the case in the Main Gators Desk. No tabs spiralling, no copy-pasting between five vendors.

Searchers Three programs
01

Path Finder

"What should I search?"

OSINT search strings built from presets or AI. Enter a name, DOB, platforms, categories and language; it spits out the Google, Bing and site-specific queries.

02

Globe Check

"Sanctioned or politically exposed?"

Screens a name against global sanctions lists and PEP data. OpenSanctions under the hood. Flat pricing on every screen.

03

Media Review

"Who is this person?"

Two modes in one tool. Adverse media for what's wrong about a person; profile sweep for what's right. Three presets — light, standard, deep — across Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo.

Analysers Three programs
04

Fact Checker

"Does this hold up?"

Three modes in one tool. Verify the source of an interview or inquiry against the public record. Check a text for claims that won't hold up. Footnote the survivors with the citations that ground them.

05

Claim Checker

"Did they work where they claimed to?"

Tests work, education and corporate-activity claims against independent public-record sources. Six verdict tiers — Confirmed through Contradicted.

06

Scoper

"How long will this job take?"

Pre-engagement triage. Get a fast read on media footprint, adverse coverage, litigation and corporate affiliations. Enough to decide two days or two weeks.

Visualisers Three programs
07

Chart Builder

"How does this connect?"

Link and network diagrams in the Analyst's Notebook tradition. Drop entities, draw the links, label the relationships.

08

Timeline

"What happened, and when?"

Chronological event rail. Type events by hand or paste an article and let it extract dates and quotes into a draft.

09

Legend Builder

"How do I research without surfacing as myself?"

Cover identity, headshot, per-platform OPSEC notes for AML and adversarial-research scenarios.

Every search, every artefact saves back to the case file automatically.

Process is the product.
